McDonald & McCabe, LLC is a boutique firm with a
national litigation practice focused on the prosecution of large-scale
property damage subrogation matters, insurance coverage counseling and
litigation, commercial litigation, employment litigation, professional
liability, and tort and general civil litigation.
McDonald
& McCabe was formed in October 2001 by Thomas A. McDonald and John B.
McCabe. Previously, Messrs. McDonald and McCabe co-chaired the
subrogation practice group of a large Chicago-area law firm for over
twenty years where they obtained recoveries for their clients throughout
the United States and abroad. Together, they combine over 60 years of
experience in property insurance coverage, large subrogation matters, and
complex civil litigation.
Since
opening its doors, McDonald & McCabe has grown to become a group of
experienced trial attorneys with command of a number of practice areas.
Our attorneys have litigation backgrounds in the corporate, insurance
defense, and government settings. Being a cohesive group, the attorneys
of McDonald & McCabe share their diverse experiences and insights
with one another in order to provide their clients with the most
effective strategies and solutions.
The
attorneys of McDonald & McCabe are committed to providing our clients
with the highest quality of legal services. Our clients benefit from the
depth of our collective litigation experience and from our creative
approaches to obtain positive results. Our attorneys continually monitor
the latest developments in property and insurance coverage law and keep
active in local, state and national bar organizations. During the past
year, members of our firm have lectured and provided seminar materials at
the Property Loss Research Bureau, the Western Loss Association, the Federation
of Defense and Corporate Counsel and have also been published in the
American Bar Association’s Trial Tort & Insurance Practice Law
Journal.
McDonald
& McCabe is uniquely staffed and equipped to effectively handle
large, complex litigation matters. Our experienced paralegals, research
staff, and experienced litigation support staff provide increased
efficiency and thoroughness to our case management. We have also
implemented a number of sophisticated, cutting-edge technologies which
enable us to effectively manage very complex and document intensive
cases. We employ progressive litigation computer software programs and
hardware to digitally store, categorize, and retrieve documents,
deposition testimonies, and other information. These technologies give our
clients a competitive advantage over their opponent and enable us to be
more efficient and cost-effective for the benefit of our clients.
